We had a wonderful stay in the Standard Double Room, which was cleaned perfectly and had a lovely decor. The staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Plus, the breakfast options were delicious, especially the full English and vegetarian selections.
Could hear noise from the adjoining rooms.

The Mill offered a lovely escape next to the canal. The location is peaceful, with beautiful views of swans and narrow boats. My room was spacious and clean, making it a comfortable retreat. I enjoyed the friendly service from all staff, always eager to help. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, suitable for a relaxing meal. the breakfast needed improvement. Selections felt limited, with no pastries or fresh fruits available. The hot breakfast was decent, but poached eggs could use some attention. I found the noise from nearby activities a bit disruptive, especially early in the morning. Despite these issues, the positives made my stay enjoyable.

Absolutely loved the comfortable beds! The peaceful location was just ideal for a snooze. Breakfast was a delight, everything tasted top-notch.
The food service felt like it was on a leisurely stroll—my meal took longer to arrive than my patience lasted! I could have knitted a sweater in that time!

A beautiful location with stunning views and a really friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was good, including mouth-watering Hungarian beef stew, but the room experience was not ideal. It was uncomfortably hot with a noisy fan, and the bathroom had noticeable issues with the taps and shower, making it tricky to use. While appreciative of the warm hospitality, these fundamental problems ultimately detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Had an amazing family adventure exploring stunning views across to the Lake District while staying here. Our standard room was spacious, ideal for us and our little one. Watching herons fishing while we enjoyed a delicious breakfast was a highlight of our visit.
My kids wished for more entertainment options for little ones. A family play area would be great.
